The Tiger Wood’s PGA Tour 10 release for the Wii platform, marked a dramatic evolution of this highly successful video game franchise. The emphasis for the user experience was placed on ’Real Game Play’. This meant real time data integration, vastly improved game play with ‘motion plus’. Nintendo looked to Blast Radius to create on online portal, social hub and experience that captured and high lighted this next stage in sports video games through video and user generated content.

Experience Strategy: business and customer research and strategy to determine the perceptions, gaming and social behavior of gamers. This included marketing and in person customer interviews from customer segments to determine feature sets that drive customer engagement and conversion.

Imagine

Design Thinking: collaborative and co-creative workshops used the business, and customer research insights to ideate on and formulate the experience framework created around community and passion for sports and video gaming.

User Flow and Wireframes: the experience framework became the foundation for modeling the information architecture and final annotated wireframes

Launch

Post launch: the micro site and social hub for the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 saw a marked increase in traffic, engagement and user generated content.
